The way to the women's shelter

Women who are threatened and / or affected by violence often find their situation hopeless. The first steps out of the violent relationship are very difficult and often impossible to handle without outside help.
If you would like to seek refuge in the Frauenhaus, call us:

06421-14830

Our office is open Mon-Fri from 9am to 4pm.
If you are in a direct threat situation, call the police (tel: 110)!

It can expel your partner for up to 14 days from the shared apartment and / or establish contact with the women's shelter, even outside our office hours.

If you contact us, we will as soon as possible a consultation in our counseling Center agree with you or possibly perform on the phone. We clarify your situation and your risk situation and discuss with you the admission to the women's shelter. Below you will find one checklist with all things that are helpful in a women's refugee stay.

In the next step, a female resident of the women's shelter will pick you up and possibly your children at a meeting point and bring them to the women's shelter. We will first show you the house, introduce you to the other residents and make sure that your primary care is guaranteed. As soon as possible, we will make a detailed recording interview with you.

• The women's shelter is open to women and children of any cultural background or religious affiliation, regardless of their German language skills. If necessary, we work together with interpreters.

• Women who are addicted to addiction, severe mental illness or homelessness can not be admitted. We are happy to help with the mediation to other institutions.
